Isn't it great to see new airlines like Air Ceilao starting up and continuing the legacy of aviation in these turbulent times. It got me thinking about my 40 odd years in the industry and the wonderful characters and colleagues I worked with. Not to mention travelling the world and working in some amazing overseas places. So combining my passions for aviation and creative writing, it made me put pen to paper to create a new poem which pays tribute to the pioneers of aviation. Those innovative souls who dared to reach for the skies and laid the foundation for the incredible industry we know today.
