The Pinnacles

I almost didn’t look back when I started my climb into a cave at Pinnacles National Park.

Thank goodness I did. Otherwise, I would have missed the pinnacle peeking out between the boulders on this California mountain slope. What a sight to behold! It took my breath away.

Before venturing into the unknown, consider looking back. Think about how you reached the pinnacles or most successful points in your career or life. What valuable lessons did you learn? What would you do differently?

I only visited one of the two caves at this national park. My gut told me this daughter of a sailor would have cursed her way through the deeper, darker cave. So, I turned around and chose a different path than my husband who relishes cave exploration. The steep trail around the cave gave me a closer look at the majestic pinnacles rising into the azure sky.
