Pink Hard Hat Ribbon Event for Breast Cancer Awareness

Pink Hard Hat Ribbon Event for Breast Cancer Awareness

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, NJRC attended EMCOR Group's Pink Hard Hat Ribbon event yesterday as a call to action to get screened for breast cancer. New Jersey has one of the highest incidence of breast cancer in the U.S., and early detection is crucial. During the event, more than 300 attendees formed a Pink Hard Hat Ribbon at The Ellipse at Newport Green Park in Jersey City. I was invited to speak, along with our JCETP partners Pat Kelleher, President, Hudson County Building and Construction Trades, and Freeholder Bill O'Dea, Mayor Fulop, and many others who all joined in sharing their support for breast cancer awareness.
