Pink Full Moon & Birthday Cake

Are you feeling sunshine or showers on this April day?

I tossed and turned a lot as I tried to sleep last night. Recently, I released an old habit, and last night I was trying really hard not to fall back into it... the funny thing is the habit I am releasing is my habit of trying too hard. Sometimes my mind's commitment to keeping its old ways amazes me.

Equally as awe-inspiring is my mind's enthusiasm to welcome creative inspiration. I realized this after pulling myself out of bed and making my cup of mushroom coffee ( yup I am one of those people). The scent of coffee permeating the air was enough to nudge me back on track. Just that familiar scent sparked me enough to remember that this morning was the premier of the?Cup Of Consciously Awesome Show?hosted by our Consciously Awesome team. Minutes into the show, Laura had me reminiscing about my childhood. Then Mariesa woke my mind up with imagination as she reminded me of the power of taking time to play. Chantel had me giggling when she pulled out the scarves and my body jumped in for some fun.

That's all it took. My body feels great as I noticed the choir of birds outside my window. Everything that felt hard last night is suddenly easy again.

Now my mind is energized and inspired as it reflects on the weeks ahead. Last night I was overwhelmed by a to-do list. But this morning, I am filled with gratitude for all of the incredible opportunities to share my gifts and inspirations with you throughout April.

Every cell of my body is tingling with delight as my heart and mind dance in the creativity of my soul.

April is my birthday month and I can not think of a better way to celebrate my life than to spend this month doing what I love. I'm smiling?as I think of all these opportunities to play with you?throughout the coming weeks.
