Pilz Canada: Light at the end of the tunnel

Hello Everybody,

Yes, we can share positive news again: September was the very best month in order intake, and so was Q3 for Pilz Canada! We see a lot of quoting activities across all industries, and finally we are receiving more orders again. We trust that this is not just a temporarily development but that it will be repeated in Q4.

And like in the previous months, our TUEV-certified training courses, CMSE (Certified Machinery Safety Expert), were very well attended and are still our best-selling “product group”. In addition to this regular safety training, Pilz will offer a newly designed training specifically for security. Of course, this will be as always, a cooperation between Pilz and TUEV North. The title of the training is CESA – Certified Expert for Security in Automation. This training is in preparation now and will be offered in Canada in the second half of 2025, right on time for the new European Machinery Regulation, which will be mandatory for all new machines in January 2027.

Please do not forget about GTD 2025: The 6th German Technology Day will be the largest so far, with over 30 high tech German companies inviting our customers on October 31st to the Toronto Congress Center. As in the past, GTD offers a mixture of trade show and educational seminars. The theme for this year is “Smart solutions for you and your industry”. We will also have very special guests: Honorables Minister Vic Fedeli (Minister of Economic Development, job creation and trade), Tjorven Bellman (New German Ambassador to Canada) and Kristina Thony (German Consul General) will grant us a visit. We are looking forward to it.
