The pilot shortage is a significant issue facing the aviation industry, with many airlines struggling to find qualified pilots to meet demand. To address this shortage, Capitol Technology University recently launched a new Bachelor of Science in Aviation Professional Pilot degree program with a focus on pilot training.?This is the only Bachelors’ Degree providing commercial airline pilots between Washington, DC and Baltimore, MD.?(www.CapTechU.edu ).?Apply now as the program starts Fall 2023.
The program is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills they need to pursue a career as a commercial airline pilot. Students in the program will receive extensive flight training, including in both single-engine and multi-engine aircraft. They will also learn about aviation regulations, flight planning, navigation, and other important topics related to aviation. The program also includes coursework in aviation safety, human factors, and airline operations, which are essential areas for pilots to understand in order to operate safely and effectively.?You may also wish to minor or double major in the Bachelor of Science in Unmanned and Autonomous Systems.
