PILLAR 3 – EXECUTION DECISIONS

PILLAR 3 – EXECUTION DECISIONS

With the right people at your side and a killer strategy to dominate your market, it’s time to make sure you have an execution plan. Of course, this is much easier said than done, especially when you’re trying to scale your company. So how can you tell how well your company is doing? Well, it starts with making the?decisions?about execution.

First things first

The key question to ask yourself is whether all business processes are running without drama and driving industry-leading profitability. To answer this we will work together to identify the principles and habits needed to sustainably grow your company. With a killer strategy and/or heroic employees willing to work 18-hour days, seven days a week, you might be able to make up for sloppy execution and lack of discipline. But that’s neither sustainable nor desirable for you or your employees.

The basics

There are three basics that we will work together on:

  1. Priorities - The company and everyone in it is focused and aligned with their (few) named priorities.
  2. Data - Qualitative and Quantitative data are being collected and used to fuel decision-making. Leadership and middle management are engaged in weekly conversations with customers and employees.
  3. Meeting Rhythm - Daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual meetings are held to create space and time for teams to communicate, debate, and make important decisions.

It Starts at the Top

The most important habit on the list is priorities. None of the other habits can be implemented without a healthy, aligned executive team, ready to handle brutal truths and make sound decisions. However, don’t stress. We will work together to identify which ones to focus on first to get the most immediate benefit. Then we will move on.?

As your 4 Pillar Coach, I will go through the steps with you to figure out which habits are already in place at your company. Then, we can discuss with senior executives which habit would be best to implement next. With consistency and persistence, your company will be in great shape for the scaling-up journey.?

Making a decision without actually acting on the decision happens to people who aren't sure of themselves. Self doubt gets to them. Or else , if it's a group, the passion of the leadership just isn't there and the employees figure it's the flavor of the month. The boss doesn't really care.
