Pie is the only time to worry about flakiness

If you have a story about “flaking on things” that is making you feel terrible, it’s time to let that shit go.

Who?cares?if you don’t finish things? (And if your answer is "I don't care, but other people care", that's another issue for another day)

  • That book can go unfinished.
  • That course can go uncompleted.
  • That game can go unbeaten.

Finishing something?just to finish it?shows that you value the story of “finishing things” more than you value your time, energy, and goals.

That’s bonkers.

I’m a crazy devotee of my mentor and you know what? I haven’t watched every video in her programs. I still gets tons of value out of my work with her.

Because I know that?finishing something?is not what makes it valuable. My?thoughts?are what make something valuable (psssttt…this is because value is subjective).

You know what’s way worse than losing interest in something? Not pursuing something you actually want because of your fear of being flaky.

In other words,?flaking ahead of time.

So if the only reason you aren’t doing something is because you worry you won’t follow through,?do it. (Hey, people who are considering joining the?Playground?but worried you'll never use it, I’m talking to you)

And rather than focusing on finishing, focus on?getting what you want from the experience. Focus on rewriting the story that if you don't complete something 100%, there's something wrong. Because worrying about flaking??That's?the thing that is keeping you from using the things you buy.

Much love,

Meg

PS: If you still believe that it's a problem that you're flaky (or lazy...or undisciplined), you?need?to join the?Black Sheep Playground?by April 1.

April is the month that we burn down all our self-judgmental beliefs.?These thoughts are 100% keeping you from getting what you want. I spent my entire 20s?not?working out because of my fear that I wouldn't stick with it or would get bored. Once I decided I wouldn't beat myself up even if I stopped, I started working out consistently. Because I actually wanted to.

That's what happens when you stop making who you a problem. You start actually doing what you want.
