Continuing on from last week, I present an alternative to SMART Goals. Something about PIE is just more appealing to me. And it's actually smarter for achieving goals.

Something gets lost in Goal setting... that is, that goal setting is NOT the goal. Goal accomplishment is! It would be like getting all excited about creating blueprints for my kitchen remodel, but then never actually making the changes. That happens to a lot of people, unfortunately, when it comes to realizing their aspirations.

After the Why is established, going through the hard work of the upfront Process BEFORE even defining goals for the new year, sets you up for a much better chance of success!
