Whatever is running through this young lad's mind I do not know exactly? He could be thinking, "How I wish I was going to school too" or he could be thinking, "Why are they wasting their time and energy going to school when our old fathers have changed the lock because certificate education is no longer the key" The big lie they told us

Then, something magical is happening to this young man as he pursue his own path. He is developing high impact skills that no school can teach.

- He is developing resilience

- He is developing persistence

- He is developing how to handle rejections any time someone tells him "No, I am not buying"

- He is developing the skill of making money, keeping money and multiplying the money

- He is developing the skill of sales & negotiation (All billionaires have this)

- He is developing the skill of bravery and courage

- He is developing the spirit of hardwork and how to go the extra mile

- He is developing the skill of thinking logically and making firm decisions

- He is developing general street smartness and actions (Gold)

This young man does not need school education to be successful (Please I am not discouraging education). To be successful he needs literacy skills, numerical skills, digital skills, critical thinking skills, people management skills, general business skills…

Let us assume he never step foot in a formal school building and the following is happening in his life

1. Every evening he is attending a learning program organized by his church or local NGO on how to read, write and understand how numbers work (literacy skills)

2. After which someone now advices him to attend a computer and digital skills program being organized by a youth NGO in his community for 2 hours a day for 3 months

3. After which he stays so close with this youth empowerment NGO and is attending youth driven workshop every week that focus on leadership development, goal setting, positive mindset, self-discipline etc

4. He gets a business mentor who is teaching and mentoring him on how he can start managing his business finance, structure his business, acquire more customers, expand among other things.

Who will be more successful when they all clock 20 years? The students or this business young lad?
