Delighted to have shared at the GLAD conference hosted by Ulster University Belfast, how the University of Salford’s Learning and Teaching Enhancement Centre (LTEC) harnessed the power of visual communication and dynamic branding to transform academic practice.
Our presentation explores the innovative integration of user experience principles and how we used practices from the creative arts to enhance our learning and teaching environment. Through adopting vibrant branding and evocative imagery, we’ve created a visually stimulating landscape that not only supports but also inspires our academic community to evolve the student experience.
This approach aligns with our mission of enriching lives through stimulating discovery, and realising potential. LTEC supports staff to support students. We have built (ground-up an interactive and engaging platform for academic practice professional development.?
At the festival we invited participants to join us, as we reflected on our journey. We showcased our creative approach, which draws upon artistic elements, digital mastery, and innovative narrative to redefine engagement with learning and teaching practices.
Our strategy and creative approach has resulted in better information accessibility and usability, captivating and empowering our colleagues to explore and engage deeply with their academic practice to transform student learning.
