#PicOfTheDay: Curated for you

#PicOfTheDay: Curated for you

My work profile allows me to be privy to some of the best work by my colleagues. Here is a collection of my favorite pictures that appeared in Lokmat during the last fortnight (November 2017).

I bring them to you in this blog post. Over time, I hope to bring more such interesting clicks on this platform. Do share your views would love to know what you think. Here you go:

'Dutiful' father, 'forgot' his helmet & loaded FOUR kids on his two-wheeler and sped through Vardhali Kamthi road in Nagpur. Police let him go scot-free as his kids needed to reach school. Is this #legit? My colleague, Shah Rukh Khan's click

After 5 years, rays of the sun touched the idol of Amba Bai in Kolhapur. Golden rays bathed the idol starting from the feet, slowly progressing to the crown. Large crowds gathered to witness this rare sight. A divine sight captured by my colleague, Aditya Velhal.

Just outside Kelshi village is the scenic Kelshi beach. A queer sight caught the fancy of passersby, some foreign tourists created a crab-shaped #sandart. Needless to say, this crab was vegan :). Nice click by my colleague, Pinak Kaloli.

As soon as winter sets in, Kolhapur witnesses migratory birds like the River Tern flocking the city's Panchganga river. My colleague, Aditya Velhal captures an unusual frame as the bird fishes its next meal.

Why are 'We are like this only'?? To avoid the footbridge, citizens resort to crawling below a goods train and walking on the tracks. Isn't 'Saving one's self' the instinct we are born with?

Do let me know your views. Leave a comment on the kind of pictures you would like to see on this platform.

Signing off.

Warm Regards,
