The Picklist ??
Every weekend, we’ll be delivering our top Salesforce headlines – highlights from the previous week for you to enjoy with a cup of coffee!
1. Get Ready for Your Salesforce Hyperforce Migration?
Ready or not… Hyperforce is coming! At some point soon, all orgs will be migrated to the new infrastructure, so there’s no use in burying your head in the sand(box).??
“Hyper” is very much the word of the day, with Salesforce describing the new and improved infrastructure as hyper-scalable, hyper-secure, hyper-compliant, and hyper-compatible. Let’s take a look at this in more detail:
See – change is no bad thing!?

2. Salesforce Einstein Announces New Copilot Updates: New AI Search and More
As usual, World Tour NYC delivered some exciting updates. This time, it was all about a major update to the Einstein 1 platform, which combines the almighty power of Data Cloud and – what else – AI.?
So what’s new??
Well, you’ll soon be able to manage all of your unstructured data through Data Cloud. In turn, Einstein Copilot will have the ability to search, retrieve, and make sense of the enormous amount of information going in and out. It’s worth noting here that a Vector Database (supplied by Salesforce) will be required.
Not familiar with the term? As well as the option to use familiar automations tools like Flow and Apex to monitor changes in data and trigger workflows, there’s a lot you can do with a Vector Database:
There’s also Einstein Copilot Search (currently in closed beta) to look forward to, which promises AI search capabilities so enhanced that they can interpret and respond to even the most complex user queries.
3. Salesforce Launches New Trailblazer Career Marketplace for AI and CRM Professionals
Trailhead has established itself as the go-to learning platform for Salesforce professionals, so it makes sense for Salesforce to capitalize on this community by helping Trailblazers transform their skills into careers.?
Enter “Trailblazer Career Marketplace”, a centralized talent hub designed for those exploring roles in data, AI, and CRM. 5. 2023 Salesforce Admin Updates: 4 Helpful Enhancements You Need to Know
As we approach the end of 2023, it’s worth recapping our favorite updates. Salesforce Admins have had plenty to talk about – what a year!?
Permissions on Profiles are indeed retiring… but not just yet! While we’ve known about this for a while, it’s now been confirmed that the change won’t be enforced until the Spring ‘26 release. So there’s plenty of time – phew!?
Having said that, it’s always worth acting sooner rather than later when it comes to looming retirements. At Dreamforce back in 2021, we learned that Workflow Rules and Process Builder processes would be calling it a day. While you can still edit existing automations, the ability to create new Workflow Rules and Process Builder processes has now been switched off, with any new automations having to be built in Flow. Have you completed your Flow migration yet??
There’s been lots of great things happening with dynamic pages, which really are redefining the user experience – from dynamic forms being extended to support hundreds of standard objects, as well as being made generally available for mobile (starting with the Winter ‘24 release), to dynamic actions being made available for all standard objects.
We couldn't not mention AI, could we? After all, this was the year that EinsteinGPT was announced at TrailblazerDX back in March. More announcements followed at Dreamforce ‘23, with Einstein Copilot joining the ranks.?
