Discretion is the better part of wisdom and of valor. Any fool can speak or act at the wrong time. No matter how good a word or deed may be, there are times when it is inappropriate. Even the fox is known for his superior prudence; he picks his time to strike.

The best of talents will fail, if the use of them is not properly timed. After all, even judgment is needed to fly a kite, not every day is a likely time. To know when to act is a whole education wrapped up in one word....Discretion.
