We're proud to introduce the Nottingham Central Library, an immersive and collaborative space for all. This £10.5m project, which is part of the wider Broad Marsh regeneration, is set to open on 28th November.

Our teams provided project management, quantity surveyor, principal designer and NEC supervisor services, building on?our recent work?supporting an interconnecting public realm in the city centre with Broad Marsh bus station and car park.

Commissioned through Perfect Circle and procured through SCAPE, we worked closely with a range of partners including Nottingham City Council, FaulknerBrowns, Chord and Morgan Sindall Construction.

Facilities enhanced at St George’s major trauma ward

Patients and staff on a London hospital ward are now benefitting from more efficient facilities following a completed refurbishment project.

The major trauma ward at St George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Tooting, has undergone operational and spatial improvements, including upgraded sanitary facilities, bedhead services and infrastructure elements such as power and ventilation.

Pick Everard completed full RIBA Stage 1-6 delivery covering architecture, structural engineering, design management, health and safety services (CDM) and clerk of works.

A Literal Department for Education – Transforming Our Inner-City Spaces

Kieran Dyer, associate director, cites the increasing demand for school spaces, which could be fulfilled by revisioning our high streets as hubs of learning.

A real-world example, Kendals in Manchester, was selected to illustrate the transformation of a typical deep plan department store into a dynamic learning space spanning seven floors, with the capacity to serve 750 students. The central idea, named ReStorED, revolves around positioning curriculum areas as storefronts, enticing students to invest their 'time' in learning a subject, essentially 'shopping' for their future within open, accessible learning environments.
