Piano hire is not just about booking a piano

Depending on your event certain models and types of piano can work better than others in different environments, take for instance a school concert which will involve a choir and is likely to be conducted by the music teacher. They need to have an unobstructed line of sight to the choir so they need to be seen by the children in order to keep in time. Acoustics also play a huge part in how any piano will sound for an event so the need to amplify the piano in most cases is not required unless the event is being recorded by future use. In the  most recent case where we provided a grand piano for the tribute event to Edna O,Brien held in the Gaiety Theatre the entire evening was recorded for broadcast by RTE on Bank Holiday Monday last so the stage crew had to use microphones to record the piano during the evening to ensure the sound was even and that the audience where able to hear it throughout the theatre.
