Phygital Splash 61: From Apple Intelligence on iPhones to Mentor's Advice

Welcome to this edition of At Lader’s, where we delve into a fascinating array of topics that sit at the intersection of our offline and online worlds!

From exploring the latest advancements in Apple Intelligence on the newest iPhone models, to offering deep reflections on the current state of culture in a thought-provoking essay, this edition is packed with insights. I also feature key lessons on company revival from a seasoned CEO and much more.

On a personal note, I am thrilled to share some exciting updates. This week, I reached a significant milestone in my mentoring journey—having mentored 100 startups since December 2022. It has been an incredible experience to share my expertise in marketing, brand management, and business growth with so many innovative minds. Through accelerator programs like those with Techstars Paris, Startup Wise Guys, Founder Institute Nordics, and South3E, as well as independently, I have had the privilege of helping companies thrive.

Last week, I had the honor of participating in a two-day event for mentors in Barcelona, organized by Early Warning Europe Mentor Academy (EWEMA) - Early Warning Europe Network, where I was recognized as an Ambassador last year. It was an enriching experience, and I have written a separate post about it —feel free to read it if you haven’t already.

Some of you might have noticed my recent discussions about integrated marketing agency services. I am keen to connect with companies looking for comprehensive marketing support.

Additionally, I have a special offering for fashion brands to assist with marketing and brand building. If you have a fashion brand and are interested in participating in Fashion Weeks or special promotion campaigns, please send me a message to discuss potential projects. Whether you’re looking to launch a new collection, increase brand awareness, or create a buzz around your participation in major fashion events, I am here to help you achieve your goals.

Feel free to read about one of my recent projects with a fashion brand from South Korea - KElly SHIN/DINT - that participated in 2025 S/S Paris Fashion Week this September. This project included an integrated marketing strategy and brand promotion with the runway event, offline retail showroom, influencer marketing, media and PR promotion. Feel free to reach out if you want to have similar brand promotions!

No, Culture is Not Stuck | Katherine Dee Wisdom of crowds

The idea that culture is stagnating, as Ted Gioia puts it — or that it’s stuck, as Paul Skallas says — isn’t new.
Mainstream offerings are dominated by sensationalist non-fiction, formulaic and #BookTok-approved YA, and an endless parade of self-help. The few compelling books still being published for mainstream audiences occupy niche spaces, without the broad public engagement they once enjoyed. If intellectuals have always complained about the fragmentation or diminishment of the reading public, today the situation is dire.
We’re witnessing the rise of new forms of cultural expression. If these new forms aren’t dismissed by critics, it’s because most of them don’t even register as relevant. Or maybe because they can’t even perceive them.
Culture isn’t stagnating; it’s evolving in ways that we’re struggling to recognize and appreciate. The challenge lies not in reviving what’s dead, but in developing the language to understand what already exists.
