Photography Composition Techniques:?
1. FRAME WITHIN A FRAME
A frame within a frame occurs when you use a visual element in the image to frame the primary subject.
2. PATTERNS & TEXTURE
Patterns are made up of repeated objects, shapes, or colours and can be random or ordered.
The material from which the object is made constitutes its texture.
3. RADIAL COMPOSITION
Radial composition relates to visual elements that expand from or center around a central point in an image.
4. NEGATIVE SPACE
It refers to the space around the main subject in your photo. It creates the right relationship between the focus point and the background.
5. JUXTAPOSITION
Juxtaposition is the contrast of physical objects. It's a visual contrast, where you have contrasting or even complementary objects within your image.
6. SYMMETRY
In this composition, one half (top/ bottom, left/right, diagonal split) of an image is identical-or nearly identical-to the other.
7. TRIANGLES AND DIAGONALS
Diagonals create tension and dynamics and lead the eyes in a particular direction. Triangles are a great way of grouping together three points of a photograph and organising them to portray a certain feeling.
8. RULE OF THIRDS
In this composition, an image is divided evenly into thirds, both horizontally and vertically, and the subject of the image is placed at the intersection points.
