Photographic Artists are vital to society!

Often the primary problem I see within our community of clients (and potential clients) is the lack of self-esteem and sense of value in the work they do. This often manifests itself in comments like ‘the consumer does not value professional photography’ but the truth is that the photographic artist must value what they do first! If you don’t value what you do and sell, then the consumer will notice this every time, either consciously or subconsciously.

I hope I can help you value your profession more. The reason why I love this industry is that I believe that you make a real difference to the health of society.

My assumption is firmly backed by the science of Biology. When people smile, endorphins are released into the body. These endorphins help reduce stress, and when we are less stressed we are healthier in mind, body, and spirit.

When viewing most professional photography, the end result is almost always a smile in your client. Every time this happens, your work is contributing to a healthier society.

While the medical profession is at the diagnostic and caring end of health, I believe that you are at the preventative end of the process. The work you do helps maintain and promote a healthier society.

What work is more important than that?

This is a cause very close to my heart and the primary reason why I work tirelessly to enable Photographic Artists to have a thriving business. The more successful you are in business the more professional images will be viewed, the more smiles invoked, the more endorphins released, and the healthier society we will have.

So, please, please, please don’t undervalue yourself or your work. Only then can we truly embark as a collective industry and bridge the gap with the consumer.

We can do this, are you with me?
