PHOTOGRAPHERS PLEASE READ THIS....


***STOP...DO NOT GIVE YOUR CLIENTS DISCOUNTS!!***

How many times do you have a customer saying "What's the discount for cash" or "Can you knock anything off for cash"?

We've all encountered it before and often the temptation is to start knocking off £50 here and there which really starts eating into your profits.

As a rule I NEVER GIVE DISCOUNTS, instead, I give away products to enhance the deal or make it more attractive.

Imagine you've just finished shooting a portrait and the customer is looking at an album package for £399 then say's "Can you do it for £350?". By knocking off £50 you are seriously reducing the profit and value of that sale, so don't do it !!

NEXT TIME TRY THIS.... 

Instead, say to the customer "I can do better than that I'll give you this fantastic mini album worth £99" or say "I'll do even better than that I'll throw in this beautiful wall canvas worth £149".

In reality, both the album and the canvas cost me under £15 each, but both have a value to the customer higher than the £50 discount they asked for, so everyone's happy and everyone comes out top.

From today vow to stop giving discounts and instead give more value by giving FREE products instead. Over the course of a year, you could save £1,000's, putting a lot more money in your own pocket.
