Photographer - Mother - Entreprenuer
Mother-of-three Jessica Bettencourt from Dayton, Ohio co-owns a photography business, volunteers and serves on two non-profit boards. Even with a busy schedule, Jessica couldn’t turn down the opportunity to share Rodan + Fields? products. “The truth is, I've always been interested in skincare. So when I started hearing about Rodan + Fields on Facebook, I immediately thought that these are great products backed by two amazing dermatologists and wanted to be a part of it,” says Jessica, who had no experience with direct sales but felt her passion for skincare would be contagious.
Jessica’s friends and family worried that she was overcommitting by joining as Independent Consultant in April 2013, but Jessica had a plan. She hoped that her extra earnings would allow her to do more to support the missions she was passionate about. “This business has taught me to dream bigger. I also want to be a part of R+F because I know it can be a game changer for many families and many people on my team,” says Jessica, who donated one hundred percent of her first year’s earnings to missions and charity work.
After 12 months of working her business 15-20 hours a week, Jessica reached Level V in October 2013 and then became Premier Level V in March 2014. “I can honestly say I really didn’t know what I was getting into when I jumped aboard, but I’m so glad I took a chance on something different,” says Jessica, who loves meeting so many new people and aspires to help her team members reach their goals. “My team is amazing. They really are changing skin and changing lives. It’s powerful.”
