Motorola’s Capacity Plus system allows multiple Two-Way Radio Handsets to share a fewer number of Channels made up of frequencies to make and receive radio calls.

Motorola Repeaters manage the multiple radio calls.

As with a phone system programmed to manage multiple phone extensions programmed into departments (Accounts, Sales, Marketing etc), radio systems are programmed to manage multiple radios across multiple groups such as, Security, Management, Site, Traffic Marshals, Cranes, Logistics, etc…

Multiple sites can be networked via IP to allow communication between sites.

Two-way radio systems are far more sophisticated than many think.

Recently we installed a 42U rack with 5 Motorola SLR8000 Repeaters managing 10 Channels; 14 Groups and 110 Motorola DP4400 handheld digital radios.
