The Phoenix Open, 'Hello From The People's Open' 2025

If you've never been to the Waste Management Phoenix Open in Scottsdale, I'd like to be the first to welcome you!

Over the years I have SOLD my clients homes, relocated them down to Scottsdale, Glendale or other outlying cities that surround Phoenix. So adding a Real Estate License to our arsenal this year allows us to better serve our larger List of relocating neighbors, friends and clients that want to Relocate, Move To/From Minneapolis/Arizona.

But there is something extra special about Living in #Scottsdale #chandler #Glendale or the #phoenix area. With over 300+ days of constant sunshine, never-ending golf, moving here so that the kids can stay active with year-round soccer practice and seemingly every restaurant you could ever want in your neighborhood community, from 'The Capital Grille', to the best in Street Taco Food trucks, to California-based 'In & Out Burger'...

Feb. 8, 2025 - A Day Off At The Phoenix Open

Hopping back and forth from Minneapolis to Arizona to serve our large client database keeps me extremely busy, but yesterday I had the opportunity of plain and simply take the day off.

Unlike the TPC Blaine in Minneapolis, TCP Scottsdale is not a private course, you can actually play the course when there are not events happening. The TPC Scottdale has two different courses, 1) The Stadium Course, where the Phoenix Open is played, and 2) The Champion's Course.

The Stadium Course - As the PGA TOUR stop with the largest crowds of any golf event in the world, The WM Phoenix Open brings immeasurable attention and respect to the Stadium Course, designed by the team of Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish. ?The course, which was renovated in 2014, is, as outlined below, the most famous for its par-3, 16th hole that transforms into “The Coliseum” during the tournaments and provides fans with one of the most exciting settings in professional sports.

The Champion's Course (Formerly Scottsdale's Desert Course) - Rivaling its famous sister course in both beauty and playability, the Randy Heckenkemper-designed Champions Course offers an ideal desert golf experience. Built on the former site of TPC Scottsdale’s Desert Course, the layout was completely revamped in 2007 to flow seamlessly within the naturally rugged terrain, meandering between natural ravines and through picturesque foothills.

Yesterday's game 2/8/2025 - Straight outta the gate after arriving at the Phoenix Open just 1 hour before, I ran headfirst into Brandt Snedeker just off Hole #11, the video is impressive and IF only one could post these great videos to Linked-In to help tell this quick story.

While Jordan Speith remains in the Top 4 this Sunday Morning, both Scottie Scheffler and Justin 'JT' Thomas are still in the lineup for Sunday's final game, and potentially a nice paycheck 2/9/2025...

The Chicken-guys were popular this year and hit the Phoenix News

Security is tight, double fenced. Even the guy on the bike is ready for speed

The Phoenix Open's famously booze-soaked 16th hole is one of the unique spectacles in golf, where the normally gentile sport lets loose with stadium-style seating, deafening music and an enthusiastic announcer introducing players in a scene that's more WWE than PGA Tour.

Semi-condoning and containing ~20% of the best in beer-drinking behavior, the Stadium has presented some of the craziest moments in golf, from Joel Dahmen's shirtless dance that forced (not really, or did it?) ~20,000 spectators to throw their drinks, bottles, cups and whatever else they could find, out on the fairway and green.

In 1997, the 10-year anniversary of the event's relocation to TPC Scottsdale's Stadium Course, it took two or three minutes to quiet the crowd, as Tiger Wood's arrived at the tee. The hole’s build-out was far from its current 294 sky-boxes and Colosseum-like stadium seating 2025. At the time, the 16th hole featured just five boxes to the right side, between the tee box and green – but the 163-yard par 3 was already known as the place to be at the Stadium Course.

?? Could You Imagine Living Next To TPC Scottsdale, in a place of 'Warmth', or Golfing Year-round?

Just like the Phoenix Open, your Luxury home-ownership is an experience—one that blends lifestyle, exclusivity, and investment. Whether you're enjoying a front-row seat at the 16th hole or a sunset from your private estate, it's all about creating moments that matter.

Over my 25 years in real estate relocations and Moving, I have seen many just sit in one place, complain about where they are living, never to make adjustment or change. I mean, they have every complaint;

? “The kids are still in school, so we’ll wait.”

? “I have seniority at work—I can’t risk leaving.”

? “My spouse could work anywhere, but I have to be in the office.”

Then, life happens. Suddenly something happens to someone, everything changes—but now, it feels too late... or is it?

Why have I been moving your neighbors to Arizona, Florida and Kentucky over the past years and you're still there. What's your excuse...

?? It’s never too late to stop settling and start living.

Many people have the money to move to where they want to, but just keep the home they are in, continue to complain, remain seemingly miserable. What a waste of life. Complaining is a wasting of your life!

While others knew the home they had never met their expectations or their lifestyles, we marketed their home the right way, they found their Top $ buyer through us, we handed over a very large check, many over Asking. We took their money, invested in the home of their Dreams, and they continue to Live in the home they've always wanted.

Short Term Move Today, Move to Somewhere Warmer in 5 Years - Today, I find many moving in Minnesota to a home that they really want, but that's also for a shorter term. As I also Offer strategizing and knowledge for short-term living and Life Planning, I am setting them up for success, so that their next few years will be in a home that fits their lifestyle today, while helping them plan for the Future, helping them find ROI in the homes they are choosing that both fit their lifestyle, yet also contain the curb-appeal and ROI their future-state, successor buyers will most-likely desire.

Moving Late In Life or After 70 - Not an excuse for not buying that 2nd home. Many people are approaching 70+ but are still buying homes (Not everyone throws in the towel or plans on living in assisted living). Homes in Arizona offer Casita's, a fully furnished bedroom with en-suite, kitchenette and washer and dryer, attached to the outside of the home. This is just one option if older family members want to stay close but are also used for the teenager who requires more separation. (No worries, they are still being monitored through the home's alarm system, no escaping late at night).

As someone who is older, you can still take out a 15 or 30-year Loan even if you may not have that many years left. There are no rules against this in the State of MN, AZ or the rest of the U.S. Age doesn't matter. Counterintuitive as it may sound, your loan application for a mortgage to be repaid over 30 years looks the same to lenders whether you are 90 years old or 40. It's not about thinking you need to pay the house off before you pass on, it's about having another home with a monthly mortgage payment, where a majority of it will 100% go back into the pocket so you CAN still enjoy those dollars you've worked hard for.

This is called 'Making your money work for you', and the neighbors I have moved from around your area are doing it, and you can too..

Or Sell Your Current Home, and Just Downsize ...Or, sell the home you have today, the one that's Less-than YOU! I'll help you find your New Perfect Home, but what's most important, I'll help you find your Top $ buyer, the one that will offer the most so that you Net more.
