PHL GROUP SECURES CONTRACT TO DELIVER ADHD SERVICES TO ADULTS IN HAMPSHIRE

PHL Group, is thrilled to announce the successful contract win to deliver ADHD services to adults across Hampshire. The service is set to commence on 1st April 2024, marking a significant step towards addressing the unique needs of adults with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in the region.

The initial phase of the service will focus on reviewing existing case loads, with plans to contact the patient cohort in due course. PHL Group has a proven track record as a reliable and experienced provider of ADHD services, having previously delivered successful programs on the Isle of Wight and in Southampton.

ADHD is a neurodevelopmental disorder that affects both children and adults. In the United Kingdom, the prevalence of ADHD in adults is estimated at 3% to 4%, with a male-to-female ratio of approximately 3:1. Though the exact cause of ADHD is not definitively known, it is widely understood to be a complex interplay of various factors, including genetics and environment.

Undiagnosed ADHD can significantly impact every aspect of a person’s life, especially when reaching adulthood without recognition. The diagnosis and treatment of ADHD can be life-changing, providing individuals with the necessary tools and support to navigate the challenges associated with the condition.

PHL Group is committed to delivering high-quality ADHD services that are tailored to meet the specific needs of adults in Hampshire. The Group's expertise in this field, demonstrated through successful services in other regions, positions PHL as a trusted provider for individuals with ADHD.

As PHL Group prepares to launch the ADHD services on April 1st, the organisation looks forward to collaborating with local healthcare professionals, community stakeholders and individuals to ensure the success of this vital initiative.
