Philosophy for myself

Philosophy for myself

“I understand that I am here to play specific role assigned to me in the Divine drama being enacted on the world-stage. I see that I play it sincerely and dedicatedly. O esteemed co-players! If you are satisfied with my performance, express your gratitude to the Almighty. But if you find any lapses, knock my door and bring them to my notice frankly, freely, even bitterly and thereby oblige me by furnishing an opportunity to improve upon them and ascend higher the ladder of perfection. For me `work is worship’ is not merely a hollow slogan to caption the letterhead and to be easily forgotten, it is a concrete, living truth of my life. Every day for hours on I go on offering the flowers of works at the lotus feet of God to propitiate him which alone satisfy me – nothing less.

The word `co-option’ explains the exact philosophy for the corporate environment where I am. I am thoroughly convinced that life is not a race to be victorious over the rivals, nor is a battle wherein to thump and slay the enemies. In fact, I have no competitors, no rivals, no enemies, because I have no gross base, material goals to achieve, no monitory peaks to conquer. My only aspiration is to play role in this Divine drama to the full satisfaction of its Director – God.”
