I’m a great believer in Experiential Learning.?Which simply means ~ learning from our direct experience.?Our most important lessons arrive with us this way, and our most transformational growth happens this way.?We have an experience, we feel it, we integrate it and we are changed.?We grow.?We’re all doing this right now in this very moment.
So what is the place of all of this writing and reading and podcasting and listening?
Well, part of our learning is about prompts and triggers to action.?We take in ideas, some of which inspire us or inform us or goad us into making intentional changes or taking certain actions.?This is not growth per se.?It is nevertheless the setting up of conditions for experiences which then generate learning and growth.?
And, another part of our learning is about making sense of our experiences.?We read stuff or listen to stuff that offers new ways to interpret, make sense of and learn from what we have experienced for ourselves. ?
So words are useful.?They are not the heart of the matter in regard to growth.?They form part of the structures we live with that facilitate growth. ?
I’ve picked out five short episodes of Truth & Transcendence to bring to your attention.?These may act as prompts, or sense making aids, or simply nourishment for the little grey cells.?I hope you enjoy them.

Ep 83: Organisations as Organisms & The Vital Importance of A Bit of Research
Ep 87: Organisations as Political Systems & The Sources of Power in Your Organisation
Two episodes introducing Gareth Morgan who gave us his marvellous book ‘Images of Organization’.?He shows us several distinct windows into our organisations.?Each one is of value in itself.?The collection together offers the potential for deep understanding and in turn radically intelligent and well-informed decision making and interventions.
Ep 89: Building Community & The Rabbis’s Gift
