Wondering given some patterns historically & repeatedly & felt worthy of asking / raising the question given time and time again how “transformative” of impacts pattern has had at scale:

What are motives and mechanisms when one proactively doles out honors/promotions/recognitions/celebration essentially transactionally for precisely the antonym of everything those honors mechanisms and such things ever even stood for on both micro + macro scales undermining them?

Doing Some Positive by Enabling / Facilitating Actions so Bad as to not even be whisperable / would “tarnish” institutions & therefore a threat | (Usually code language for essentially a few people at the tip top having voluntarily engaged in unfathomable things that’d land them twiddling thumbs in prisons)

a.????? Doing “right thing” and servicing “greater good” because are actions So bad as to be unspeakable / aka objectively without inference or assumptions blatantly wrong |?

b.???? E.g. “Know it may seem wrong—but if these things got out that are this bad about the CEO it’d make the whole entire company look bad and its right thing to do whatever it takes to ensure that does not happen”

Other:? “But these are actions objectively outlined as severely wrong by the justice system—and—isn’t there something wrong when had people supposed to be setting the example and leading done something 1% as serious—now that—that’d be morally obligatory to prosecute—but 100x as severe—exact opposite—mandates and compel to effect even more wrongs to ensure justice undermined??

Net Impact:? if as leader—if jaywalk or do a misdemeanor—make sure to do felonies and universal wrongs at same time or otherwise—may face consequences

A ploy to confuse populations and underlings and lead them astray—eg I know what I thought fervently believed and stood for before I joined—know the laws—know what is allowed and not allowed to be “said”—but look—over there see the opposite of any and all of that and they are the “honorable” ones leading “by example”

c)????? A scheme that trades off actual merits and the noble and virtuous amongst us for personal convenience, in many respects—at its expense—for service to an individual or a few individuals unspeakable misdeeds?

a.????? No doubt about it such actions are an insult and undermine all those out there that by their merits, virtue, sacrifices earned such honors and believed in what they stood for

Constitutes a “threat” where typically 1 or 2 people who objectively and indisputably without inference having done greatest wrongs for their own self interests / wanting to avoid obvious consequences throw “under the bus” the value of merits to both former recipients, as a net and moving forward

d)???? Schemes that “desensitize” and “normalize” on a larger scale basis to populations which was otherwise and formerly unfathomable and outright atrocity

While know that without inference and otherwise that was not even thinkable—but look—we all grow and wisen each day and—look over there—they did this with impunity and they are “honored” / our “role models”? |? besides, those that stood with those silly outdated eternal standards—it didn’t fare too well for them—what happened to them anyways?

E.g. by promoting / honoring / lifting to the top those that “enabled” and “empowered” such wrongs—ensure moving forward and for future insulation by tried true and tested—“dependable”—“reliable”—exploitees that one “already knows” will “do what’s right” and offset “everything they are supposed to stand for” for “my greater good”

*in any event/most favorable view & interpretation—even if one takes routes of innocence by “intentional ignorance”—that happens to be beneficial to their advancement & interests—they are taking the shoes and spot of someone who otherwise had they not been would be doing the right things and preventing atrocities and harm to innocent human being

While I always believed in it even promoted policies, justified whole entire things on the basis of it prosetylized morality and what’s right and wrong on its basis—“now realize” that? things get antiquated and just because some document speaks of such things like “inalienable” and so forth—times have changed and those who wrote such things—now and today—would be “threats”

b.???? ànet impactà? normalizing and encouraging actions undermining the whole core foundations and compasses of things while using them where advantageous and self serving and “being the change one wishes to see in the world” effectively deeming which aspects and elements of such things are valid / good / causes that are actionable and for greater goods

Are there situations where because of a CEO’s voluntary fully embraced and intentional decisions that didn’t pan out as they intended where expansive and accumulating summations of more & /or worse as needed wrongs are justifiable or even “the right thing to do” for the “greater good of the company.”?? And even assuming say yes to that—what then when it’s revealed that the truth an actuality was the latter was all about safeguarding self & misdeeds manipulatively peddled as if on behalf of the company?

Such things need to be fully illuminated as otherwise—see out there in such situations unspeakable unfathomable unimaginable things like people celebrating their dedication to causes & things whose whole “celebration”? came on the back of and expense of virtuous /? noble things—indisputably—magnifying perpetuations.
