“We are grateful for the continuous partnership with the Canadian Red Cross. The four water tankers will amplify our response capacity for providing safe water in the most critical time of emergency and disasters. In addition to the acquisition of the water tankers, the Canadian Red Cross continued the partnership through the implementation of the WASH Development and Readiness Project which aims to reduce the health risks of marginalized and vulnerable communities — the project targets to reach at least 50,000 individuals in Cebu, Leyte, and Negros Occidental. Through their support, we can reach and uplift more vulnerable communities in the Visayas region,” said Chairman Gordon.?

The PRC leads the provision of safe water in the communities affected by typhoons, flooding, and earthquakes.
