PHILANTHROPY MANAGER | CHATSWORTH HOUSE TRUST
With Lord Burlington and his family taking the helm at Chatsworth and the appointment of Jane Marriott in the new role of Director of the Chatsworth House Trust, this role would see you supporting our ambition to present Chatsworth as a place with charity at its heart and for the benefit of everyone.
Your primary focus would be to lead on the development and implementation of a higher-level individual giving and Patrons scheme, leading on the research, acquisition and stewardship of donors and a year-round programme of special events including Chatsworth hosted events, overseas visits and access to private collections.
You would work with the Director of Development, the Director of the Trust, and Trustees to identify prospects for major gifts and be responsible for all public fundraising campaigns at Chatsworth.
You would identify and cultivate new supporters and deliver excellent donor relationship management to help the team achieve ambitious financial targets and ensure income diversity for the Chatsworth House Trust.
The role will encompass donations, giving schemes, fundraising campaigns, major gifts, international giving via ‘Chatsworth in America’ and legacies and is an exciting opportunity to shape and develop a new area of charitable income in for the Trust and deliver a step change in philanthropy at Chatsworth.
Chatsworth House Trust is an independent charity dedicated to the preservation of Chatsworth House, the art collection, garden, woodlands and park for the benefit of everyone. The Development Department is currently raising circa £1 million a year from corporate sponsors, trusts and foundations, public bodies and individuals.
