PHILANTHROPIC PARTNERSHIPS TEAM LEAD | PLAN INTERNATIONAL UK

Plan International UK exists to create a fairer world for every child - and because girls’ rights are always at greatest risk, equality for girls and young women is always our starting point. Our work spans education, healthcare, humanitarian responses and more, creating a powerful force for change.

The Major Partnerships Team plays a vital role in connecting high value donors with our cause and the people we help - each year our donors help to improve the life chances of hundreds of thousands of young people across the world.

We’ve grown significantly over the last 10 years and now raise over £10 million a year from a wide variety of companies, foundations and philanthropists.

We have had significant success in landing and maintaining mutually beneficial partnerships and the key to our success is very much our people.

We’re proud of our collaborative, creative, can-do approach which focuses on building strong relationships by supporting each other and working closely with other teams.

Over half of our income (£5 million) is raised by our talented and dedicated Philanthropic Partnerships Team - we are looking for a dynamic, creative and positive manager to lead this team.

The Philanthropic Partnerships Team is made up of 9 experienced fundraisers who each bring their own unique expertise supported by one of the best prospect researchers in the business at their side.

Key drivers of the programme are top notch stewardship and focused proactive prospecting backed by our own dedicated programme development unit and major partnerships marketing team.

We’re looking for an experienced leader who’s has secured high value gifts from major donors and trusts alike with a passion for gender equality and Plan’s mission to help all girls around the world to thrive.

To succeed in this role, you’ll have the people skills to inspire and lead this dynamic high-achieving team and you’ll need to enjoy building networks, creating innovative concepts and pitching ideas to a wide variety of donors.

The salary is £57,750 and the role is Full Time 34.5 hours a week based in London with flexible hybrid working arrangements.
