Louis Vuitton has named?Pharrell Williams?as the brand's new men’s creative director, effective immediately.

According to the label, Williams’s first collection for Louis Vuitton will be revealed this June during Men’s Fashion Week in Paris.

Pietro Beccari, Louis Vuitton’s newly-appointed chairman and CEO, said in a statement that he is “glad” to welcome Williams “back home” after their previous collaborations together in 2004 and 2008.

What to Know About Next Week’s Micam Show in Milan

Micam Milano is gearing up for a big return next week for its 95th edition.

Slated to run Feb. 19-22, the?international footwear trade fair?is returning to its four-day format after seeing “encouraging signs of an upturn in the market,” show organizers said.

The details: A total of 988 brands, including 451 foreign exhibitors, will be showcasing their products. New entries at this edition include Alberto Guardiani, Buffalo Boots, Cult,?Kenneth Cole, Luciano Padovan, and Oxs.

Footwear Prices Were Up in January

Price growth slowed in January as inflation shows more signs of waning.

Consumer prices rose by 6.4% in January compared to last year, according to a?Tuesday?report from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. This marks the smallest 12-month increase since the period ending in October 2021.

How do shoes stack up? Footwear retail price increases also slowed in January, and were up 0.4% compared to last January, the slowest growth in 22 months. Compared to last year, men’s footwear was up 0.5%, women’s was up 0.1% and kid’s was up 0.9%.
