The PGK30 is a very portable battery or mains operated DC insulation meggar, designed for DC testing of cables or other highly capacitive or inductive loads.

What makes it different from what is currently available in the market?

  • Dual range 0 to 15kV and 0 to 30kV versus current equivalent unit in the market @ 0 to 5kV and 0 to 25kV
  • Able to test 11kV cables using the low range
  • Short circuit current 5mA versus current equivalent unit in the market @ 2.5mA (tests longer cables)
  • Light weight 10.5kg versus equivalent unit in the market @ 16.5kg
  • Battery LED indication of battery voltage (green, amber, red)
  • Back light of the voltage and current displays for night time work
  • Built in a weather resistant and Pelican strength casing
  • Short Circuit earthing connection with hook and clamp is standard with delivery of the PGK30
