PGA Professional Michael Block Captures Pro Division at Troon’s 2023 TaylorMade Pro-Am at Whistling Straits

Troon?, the leader in providing golf and club-related hospitality services, has announced that PGA Professional Michal Block captured the Pro Division Championship at the 2023 TaylorMade Pro-Am at Whistling Straits, which was held from August 8-13. The victory was the latest achievement for Block, the Head PGA Professional at Arroyo Trabuco Golf Club in Mission Viejo, CA, who captivated the golf world with his tie for 15th place at the PGA Championship at Oak Hill, in Rochester, NY, competing against the world’s best professionals.?

The TaylorMade Pro-Am at Whistling Straits represented the third leg of the 2023/2024 Troon Pro-Am Series, which is a collection of golf events managed by Troon Events that offer professional and amateur golfers a premier competition with exceptional hospitality at iconic venues. The 2023/2024 Troon Pro-Am Series schedule currently includes five tournaments (three have been completed) each with amateur competitions in both gross and net divisions with top teams earning prizes, while top professional golfers compete for shares of $10,000 purses.??

The 2023/2024 Troon Pro-Am Series schedule kicked off with the 2023 Cobra Puma Pro-Am at Pebble Beach Resorts, in Pebble Beach, California (February 14-19, 2023), followed by the Pro-Am at TPC Sawgrass, in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida (July 30 – August 3, 2023) and the Pro-Am at Whistling Straits, in Sheboygan, Wisconsin (August 8 – 13, 2023). Next up is the Pro-Am at Pinehurst in Pinehurst, North Carolina (August 23 – 27, 2023), and the culmination of the series is the 2024 Cobra Puma Pro-Am at Pebble Beach Resorts, in Pebble Beach, California (February 13-18, 2024).?
