P.F. CHANG'S: An Expensive Freebie

Today I was sent an email from PF Changs. It was an offer for a free choice of either Fried Rice or their Noodles. The catch was that I would have to go today. Luckily, my husband had a half-day at work and showed up around noon.
After much grumbling from him (Leos!) we went there for the first time, ever and the last!
To say this place is expensive is kind of an understatement. They charge over $3 for a soda. Determined to get that free rice came with having to convince several people with the email from my phone. No! I wasn't supposed to need to order anything else and Yeah, I only got one meal despite it really not saying anything about that.
I made 2 mistakes. I ordered the shrimp dumplings & had them fried. I should have had them steamed and I thought I had ordered the pork. Whatever. They were really oily & "Fishy".
My husband had his rice and added shrimp. According to him, the rice was crunchy. I had a taste and it was flavorless.
In the end, it still cost us $20 plus tip. That is minus the $10 for the free rice.
If I had ordered a meal or had to pay for my husband's rice, we would be looking at a meal for 2 that would be close to $50 that was just fair. Panda Express (Not the Mall Version) is considerably better and won't make you think you were screwed over.
