Pets at the Office - my thoughts on company culture and growth

Meet Bella, my best friend and co-worker. Yes, I take Bella to work every day. I used to think my company had a great culture because we bring dogs to the office. Many well-intentioned people confuse culture hacks and benefits with a company culture. Creating great cultures requires a thorough, deep and honest process as well as constant reinforcement.

I'm personally intrigued by what distinguishes excellent companies from mediocre ones. During my years working for a startup and then working for a corporate, I learned a lot about what it takes to build a great company. As I'm designing my new company, I thought it would be a good idea to share my thoughts on how to create certain aspects of it.
