PeTARY

On the 24th of November 2021, we had a library talk by Madam Hejilda Hendrick, via Webex meeting, during our PPD1041 lecture. From this talk I gain a knowledge on how to use the online UNIMAS library's, PeTARY. Madame Hejilda Hendrick briefed us about our library account, E-book, E-journal and database. I also know about my library account.

We also learn about basic service at PeTARY such as the Locker, Student Lounge, 24 Hour Learning Facility and Computer Laboratories. Firstly, the locker service. the fee to lend the locker is RM2 only per month and if I wish to lend one of the locker I have to go to the circulation counter to lend a locker. Next is Student Lounge. At the student lounge the students are allowed to eat and drink. This is also a social place for the student. The student Lounge opened at 8am to 10pm during the weekdays and 10am to 10pm on the weekend. the student Lounge will be closed during public holiday. The third service is the 24 Hours Facilities. it is located at the outside terrace of the building. This Facilities was accommodate with Wifi, air conditioner, tables and chair, and soft drinks and food vending machine. Lastly is the computer laboratories. This computer laboratories is accommodate with 54 computers which were used for training, classes, workshop and exams.

From this activity I have learned about how to borrow books from the online page of PeTARY. I also know the services provided at PeTARY. I hope when we got a chance to go into campus I can visit PeTARY to gain experience and more knowledge.
