Pertexa and California Telehealth Network Announce Strategic Partnership
Pertexa (PHT) and California Telehealth Network (CTN), two leaders in promoting the adoption of health information technologies and services to improve access to high quality healthcare in medically-underserved and rural communities across California, have agreed to a strategic partnership to offer PHT’s latest productivity tools - Radekal and RITA to communities in need.
Radekal is a multipurpose suite of web based technological tools designed to reduce the amount of time physicians spend on paperwork and patient evaluation by automating diagnosis, prescription creation and progress notes on a variety of devices.
Remote Intelligent Telehealth Assistant (RITA) enables healthcare providers to share information across different EMR platforms in an interoperable fashion.
“We look forward to supporting Pertexa in their efforts to offer Radekal and RITA. We believe these tools could be a big help to healthcare providers in California’s rural and medically underserved communities. Working together, CTN can provide affordable and reliable broadband to support these web based applications. This can provide our clinical partners and sites an immediate opportunity to positively impact the productivity of their diverse medical operations,” said Eric Brown, President and Chief Executive Officer of CTN.
“We are proud to join CTN as a strategic partner to offer our solutions to underserved parts of our home state because of their clear leadership on issues facing those communities across California. I know and have great confidence in CTN which has become the leader on issues facing rural medical facilities. CTN provides strong IT support capabilities and has earned the trust of the stakeholders they represent. Pertexa wants to stay focused and continue to create innovative software and hardware productivity tools for California and the entire U.S. healthcare market. We need great partners like CTN,” said Kishor Joshi, Chief Executive Officer of Pertexa.
