[NEW REPORT] Creating Sustainable Impact - Building Resilience Through Climate Adaptation

As the frequency and severity of climate-related disasters increase, climate adaptation planning offers a critical lever for business continuity and risk management. Developed by Schneider Electric Sustainability Business, in partnership with Women Action Sustainability, this report highlights key findings, including:

  • 38% of companies in this study have developed climate adaptation plans, but only 6% have fully implemented them.
  • 30% of the companies surveyed don’t have insurance coverage to mitigate financial risks linked to climate hazards.
  • Climate-related disasters have affected numerous companies, disrupting their supply chains, direct operations, and the communities they serve.
  • Only 12% have detailed methods to assess the financial impact of physical climate risks.
