Perspective

How do you feel about what's happening in the world today? I feel a bit of anticipation for a groundswell of empathy and unifying activity to choose peace and stop the nonsense. A poll of planetary citizenry would agree killing each other makes no sense at all. In perspective, far too many places in the world are coexisting mixed cultures and seem to get along just fine in the 'shared' space.

We need leaders who support 'shared space;' living and working together to build strong communities. I use 'perspection' in the quote above as it includes introspection and perception, a necessary symbiosis within observation of life and world view. What is your world view like today? Are you optimistic or pessimistic toward our yet undetermined future?

Authority and Conviction

My wife and I were discussing the current situation from different perspectives. We're both musicians, she a Russian-trained conservatory graduate with a classical piano pedagogy degree, now well-respected accompanist and pedagogue. I am not so fortunate, just a drummer who learned how to play by feeling the phrasing in songs, with my favorite being improvisational jams that include progressive blues, jazz and rock. Our congruence in vision also inspires my work in consciousness, leadership and organizational development.

The conversation prompted a reflection on a piece I wrote for my MA in Organizational Management degree, titled, 'Authority and Conviction,' now hosted on Medium. It was for an Ethics class. It was probably the first time I shared my weird side, kind of a separate reality, yet not, that was a leap into vulnerability for me. I had an awakening, a divine experience if you will, as a teen that left me with marching orders of helping to facilitate a new world order of harmony among people and planet.

Spinning Out to Spiraling Up in Our Ascent

Going further into our conversation about leadership and the sense of authenticity in the authority and resonance of the conviction one might feel beyond the words spoken, in any language. Is there a 'sense' of honest and truth we can feel in the vibrations of the words spoken, regardless of whether we understand them or not? Quantum research would indicate a 'yes,' as we are able to sense vibrationally validity whether we actually practice the awareness of it or not.

This brings up the notion of a general upwising or increase in discernment available to all of us now. It would seem an apocalyptic anology, a revealing of knowledge or a revelation from simply listening intently to sense validity or not. Is there a collective validity vibrationally or is it individual perception? I suspect both are happening and the former a longer process fed by the latter.

We can bear witness and share more than any time in herstory or history; a social media boon of positivity, replacing the old model or paradigm as Buckminster Fuller and Socrates would suggest. Doesn't that sound like wisdom applied?
