Connecting knowledge and expertise
March is dedicated to celebrating our female trailblazers. At PwC, our Inclusion and Diversity efforts focus on various diversity dimensions that reflect who we are as PwC professionals. Being the best means we have seen everyone play and we know that our team is strong enough to face any challenge. International Women’s Day is a great occasion to celebrate what we have achieved having exceptional female talent in our teams. To our Mbokodos, happy International Women’s Day!

PwC Post-National Budget Discussion 2024
On 23 February 2024, we successfully hosted our annual post-Budget panel discussion in South Africa. Centred around the theme ‘Our Humanity: Now’s the time to work together’, our panellists Osman Mollagee, PwC Tax Partner and Xhanti Payi, PwC Senior Economist, Bonang Mohale, Chancellor of the University of the Free State and Ferial Haffajee, Daily Maverick Associate Editor shared their thoughts on how the changes proposed could affect our economy and society at large. We had the honour of welcoming 220 guests at our Waterfall office and 1438 virtually to deliver an important message: the public and private sectors need to focus on solving important problems and building trust by working together on behalf of our shared humanity. It’s a critical time for businesses, government and other stakeholders to work together in a more agile, resilient and inclusive manner and to commit to meaningful investment in societal outcomes benefiting all South Africans. Thank you to everyone who attended. More information including a recording of the event is available here.
