It’s been 15 years since we tragically lost a great friend, Bryan Kapschull at the age of 30.
I've been very vocal about how this loss has impacted me personally. My talented artist sister recently painted one of my favorite pictures of Bryan and I am proud to have this painting in my home.
By the way, my sister should quit her day job and move to a 200- year old cottage in Ireland and just paint! I can't wait for that to happen for her!
My wife and I have the painting hanging right outside of our home office, by design for several reasons.?
1. We are reminded that life is extremely short.?
2. We are reminded that the friends we choose in life truly matter to us.?
3. The painting gives us instant life perspective that most of the daily things that we complain about, do not truly matter.?
If you want to learn more about my friend check out this piece I wrote long ago.?
