Perspective is Everything

As we leave 2020 behind us, here's hoping that visual acuity becomes more of a priority. Objects in mirror are closer than they appear and even the best of us occasionally lose focus at times.
We have but to look to the brilliant Jim Harrison ('The Raw and the Cooked'), on how he uses the metaphor to impart the importance of nourishment, experience, passion and the all important opinion.
Perhaps more than ever before, it is time to reflect; mirrors are not the only option.
To persevere in business and life, we must avoid distortion and keep an eye out for relationships that need refreshing. Distillation over sublimation. Redemption versus reaction.
Truth in what we do, is how we do it.
When we look back at 2021, what will your lens look like?

4 年Great reflection. Indeed, 2021 allows for more perspective, less division and more inclusion, and for me, the “living my values” seems to be a theme. Confidence to push forward. Cheers Ian!
