Personnel Safety Nets

Personnel Safety Nets

Strong Man’s Personnel Safety Nets (PSNs) provide fall protection and comply with OSHA and American National Standards Institute (ANSI) regulations. Strong Man designs and manufactures safety systems that are available in stock and in custom sizes to meet your workplace needs. Personnel Safety Net Systems when installed horizontally provide passive fall protection for workers above the nets and passive Debris Netting protection for workers and the public below the nets.

High Strength Nylon: Strong Man Personnel Safety Nets are manufactured from durable high-strength nylon. Our 4-inch, double-strand, diamond construction has been designed and tested to withstand force in excess of 17,500 foot-pounds. They have been certified to comply with ANSI A10.11 and OSHA 1926.500-Subpart M.

Forged Snap Hooks: Forged steel snap hooks are lashed into place every 48-inches. Staggered spacing on opposite sides allows for nets to be easily connected to each other.

Ultra-Violet Retardant: Strong Man Safety Net Systems and Debris Netting are provided with a latex coating. This treatment retards the effects of ultra-violet (UV) exposure and improves the nets’ resistance to abrasion.

Flame Retardant: Strong Man’s exclusive latex flame retardant treatment is unique in that it can be added to our standard coating. As a result, only our nets can pass NFPA 701 without a decrease in overall net performance.

Debris Liner: Personnel nets can be lined with 1/4-inch polyester raschel Debris Netting to catch debris, tools, etc. that would otherwise fall through the 4-inch openings.

Falls are the leading cause of serious injury and death on construction sites in America and are often preventable by installing a fall prevention/protection system using Strong Man Personnel Safety Nets. Personnel netting is a jobsite requirement.? By investing in a passive fall prevention program, you are ensuring a safer jobsite, earning the trust of your on-site workers, and cementing your reputation as a company committed to a rigorous safety culture.

Demo Tarp: Debris Removal Made Simple.....and Safe!

The Strong Man Demo Tarp revolutionizes debris removal on construction sites. Instead of the old method of manually hauling debris, contractors can simply spread the tarp, load it with waste, and lift it out with a crane.

By using the Demo Tarp, a crew can finish debris removal in a fraction of the time, allowing them to focus on the next phase of the project. With its durable construction and smart design, it’s an essential tool that not only?enhances safety but also significantly boosts productivity— saving hundreds of man-hours.

It’s this kind of innovative thinking that turns a common headache into a manageable task. Strong Man products truly deliver practical solutions that make a difference!

Great safety tips! Ensuring proper use of the Strong Man Demo Tarp is essential for maximizing both effectiveness and safety. Here’s a quick recap with a bit more context:

  1. Inspect Before Use:?Always check for any tears or damage. For instance, a small rip can weaken the tarp and lead to debris spilling during a lift.
  2. Loading Guidelines:?Stick to general job-site debris—avoid heavy items like steel beams that could puncture the tarp. This way, you maintain its integrity and prevent accidents.
  3. Proper Orientation:?Place the tarp with the webbing facing down. This ensures that as you lift, the load is secured properly, preventing slips.
  4. Safety First:?Never position yourself or others under the tarp during operation. For example, keep a safe distance when lifting over a busy area, as unexpected shifts can occur.

By adhering to these tips, teams can ensure a safer and more efficient debris removal process!

Stay safe and efficient with these precautions!
