Personalizing Life's One Constant

When I first flew from my home in Washington, DC to Bank Director's HQ in Nashville, TN, I never dreamed of the wonderful experiences that followed.?

For the past 11 years and 8 months, my focus has been on building, encouraging and representing the talents of our entire team. Developing new relationships. Celebrating successes — like the growth of Acquire or Be Acquired — while championing a “lean startup” mindset in order to bootstrap new ventures like FinXTech.

I have been blessed to work alongside creative & talented colleagues. To see now-former teammates succeed with new companies. Humbled by the work of nonprofits we support — like Sebastian Strong, A Wider Circle and My Friend’s House (to name but three).

Putting nearly twelve years of personal & professional memories into a LinkedIn update sure seems a “fool’s errand.” However, it has been my honor and privilege to lead this team. So I am willing to take the risk by saying how?proud I am of what we built around the concept of We > I.

While I prepare to move from CEO of Bank Director | FinXTech to a new role on our board of directors — with something new, professionally, to share next week — I want to shine a bright light on an incredible team, doing incredible things, for this incredible industry. Moreover, to thank our many amazing business partners and officers & directors across our great country who placed their trust and confidence in me and our team.
