Personalized Show Plates For Ultimo 2015!

For the third year in a row, the culinary event “Ultimo- A Weekend of Excellence” hosted by The Venetian and The Palazzo Las Vegas took place. After the successful last year’s “Ultimo” event for which we designed customized golden show plates, Glass Studio was asked to collaborate once again with the “Ultimo” team. Being experts in designing luxurious dinnerware for lavish dining events, Glass Studio team designed personalized show plates for The Grand Banquet. The sumptuous table setting took extravagance to new levels!

The Venetian’s Grand Banquet

The Grand Banquet is a landmark collaboration between several of the world’s best culinarians including Chef Keller, Tessier, Hergatt and Tsai. This year, “Ultimo” had a theme of Earth, Water, Air and Fire, celebrating each element during a once-in-a-lifetime meal experience and The Grand Banquet would be celebrating “air”.

The theme of The Grand Banquet was “Dinner in the clouds”. In a salute to the spirit of Air, our dinnerware designer Maria was inspired to design a cloud-shaped personalized show plate. The handmade in glass personalized show plate featured the “Ultimo” logo in the center of its metalized silver surface. To complete the place setting, Glass Studio also designed a matching glass b&b plate, also in metallized silver color.

Guests found themselves on cloud nine as they dined in the “air”. One spectacular single table made of glass, spanning the Grand Colonnade, set with the sumptuous personalized Glass Studio handmade glass show plates, clear acrylic glass chairs, beautiful white accent pieces, hanging chandeliers underneath the table and custom effects created a dinner in the cloud experience. Artificial clouds were blown into the space throughout the night making the evening magical!
