Personal Workspace (WFH)

When working from home your Personal Workspace needs to be functional and inspiring. Here’s the space I walk into every morning to take on the day:
The walls are painted a rich deep blue, decorated in a nautical theme accented with white trim. Rustic wood planks that resemble docks out at the marina are laid in parallel with the entryway as you walk onto the floor.
The washed wood grain of the gray desk greets your eyes as you enter the room. It has a certain driftwood like quality that you would find along the shore during a beach walk.
Flanking the starboard side is a cozy reading nook painted in a swirl of faux blues and sandy browns. It is fitted with a white shelf and black iron supports that holds books and pictures of summertime adventures.
The nook is a perfect spot for morning meditations and planning out the day. In the evenings, a wall sconce illuminates the room, reminiscent of a bonfire off in the distance.
Nautical charts of familiar shores decorate the walls above and spark memories of afternoons out on the water.
This is the space I walk into, that allows me to clear the decks of mental debris and engage with the day to get work done.?
What inspires you to engage with day?
