On Sweet Leadership Podcast:
It is my absolute pleasure to invite you to tune in to the latest episodes of my podcast, "Sweet on Leadership." In Episode 9, Julie Freedman Smith and I delve into the feeling pervading people’s lives and work-lives today. We break down why there is a sense of malaise and where the fear stems from. In Episode 10 Julie and I have a discussion about what it means to create safety where people can imagine a different identity and take the first steps to get there. We talk about what motivates us and how to give ourselves the space we need to make the change we desire. You can find these episodes and more on Apple Podcasts or you can listen on Spotify or visit our website for direct links.
Trust yourself. Create the kind of self that you’d be happy to live with all your life. Make the most of yourself by fanning the tiny, inner sparks of possibility into flames of achievement. — Golda Meir
On What I'm Listening To:
'Mindset' by world-renowned Stanford University psychologist Carol S. Dweck, PhD, is a highly recommended audiobook that covers a simple but groundbreaking idea: the power of mindset. In this you will discover new insights into her now famous and broadly embraced concept. She introduces a phenomenon she calls false growth mindset and guides people toward adopting a deeper, truer growth mindset. The mindset concept is explored beyond the individual, applying it to the cultures of groups and organizations.

And Finally...
On Faking Passion: Nothing is more draining than faking it - This is an article I've written. When it comes to faking passion, one can argue that nothing is more draining than pretending to be interested or enthusiastic about something that doesn't genuinely inspire them. It not only depletes one's energy but also creates a sense of disconnection from their authentic self.
Instead of faking it, latch onto the sweet, sweet joy and fulfilment you actually get from the act of working, using your talents, collaborating with others, and lending a helping hand to those in need.
Thank you for subscribing to SWEET ON LEADERSHIP. If you have any questions, insights, or suggested resources, please feel free to write to me.
Looking forward to connecting with you soon.
Sincerely,
Tim
