Personal philosophy on life

My philosophy is to improve by 1% each day and only compare yourself to who you were yesterday. If you improve by 1% each day, then at the end of the year, you have improved by 365%. During that period, you gain new knowledge and skills that will help you land a job and create income opportunities to better your life.

That's the main reason why I started blogging. I am showing the recruiters that I'm constantly learning and gaining new skills and am hungry for growth. In that case, it will make me a valuable candidate for a SOC analyst or Security Engineering role. I'm drawing my energy on what I can control and not focusing on what I can't control.

Getting hiring managers to hire you is out of your control since it is based on their decision. However, you can still control how you present yourself to influence their decision whether to hire you.

At the end of the day, getting a job is just a byproduct of your action.

Kaizen! Love it. A very attainable and noble goal. 1% each day. I also remind myself that the intent of 1% is more important than the attainment of 1%. And Aristotle reminds us of averages. Be ok with an average of 1%. Some days are going to suck. Some days are going to be awesome. Aim for 1% improvement and be proud of yourself for all of it.
