A personal note
Those who know me in the remotest sense know how “social media averse” I am.
It is then with some reluctance that I am posting this note, following the untimely death of a schoolmate who died of a heart attack last week in Canada leaving his six year old son orphaned. Just a week ago Sheshan was all smiles thanks to the love and affection of his doting father who did his best to shield him from the tragic death of his mother less than a month ago. Life had certainly dealt Sheshan a cruel double-blow.
Sheshan’s parting words to his father yesterday, at his funeral, will resonate with all of us for time to come: “I love you daddy, I will miss you, be happy with mummy"
A fund raising campaign for Sheshan raised around CAD 90,000 in less than a week, but is still short of the target at time of writing.
As the mourners leave Sheshan’s side in the coming days and he gets back to facing the realities of life please spare a thought for him and donate generously at https://www.gofundme.com/fundraisng-for-sheashan-dharmaendr
We certainly can’t replace the losses he has suffered within a short space of time but our assistance will certainly help make a difference to his future.
Thank you.
