Description Role:
Our growing business is looking for a skilled problem solver to join our team as a Commercial Property and Casualty Customer Service Representative to provide a high level of quality service. This person will be managing client accounts and providing support to the agency and assigned producers with all new business and renewals.
We need an enthusiastic individual who can listen to customers' needs and then offer a unique and innovative solution to each need. The successful candidate for this role will have a strong command of the company's customer service policies, and be well-trained in property and casualty general practices that can be critical for offering quick and accurate assistance to customers.
General Description:
Responsible for proactively managing client accounts and providing a high level of quality service. Support the agency and assigned producers with all activities related to personal lines new business and renewals.
Responsibilities:
· Perform all account transactions, including but not limited to, preparing new business and renewal applications and forms, obtaining quotes electronically, processing renewals, ordering new business, issuing insurance cards, certificates and/or binders, and processing policy change requests.
· Maintain accurate, up-to-date information in the agency management system with full policy detail, scanned copies of all pertinent policy information and email correspondence.
· Invoice agency bill transactions, enter premiums for direct bill transactions
· Claim reporting and follow up
· Review renewal lists 90 days in advance to determine what actions are needed
· Administrative work, i.e., scanning, attaching, process incoming and outgoing mail, writing letters, etc., follow up on all transactions, ex. bind requests, renewal orders, change requests
· Respond to client, underwriter or other inquiries in a timely and professional manner
· Other projects or duties as assigned
Personal and Organizational Skills:
· Strong time management and prioritization skills to ensure efficient, timely and accurate processing of transactions and other responsibilities
· Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
· Strong customer service skills and background
· Participate in courses for insurance skills/knowledge
· Attain and/or maintain professional designation(s)
· Attain and/or maintain Pennsylvania insurance license, meet State CE requirements
· Must be comfortable using Internet based programs as well as intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products with an emphasis on Outlook, Word, Excel
